Uno Advisers recently participated in “SCAMdemic: Tricks or Treats”, a financial awareness session held at Nilai University, featuring Yuvarajan, Co-founder of Uno Advisers, as a speaker.

Before clicking a link, transferring money or sharing personal details, individuals should learn to pause and verify the source. Scammers often rely on urgency, fear, excitement or trust to make people act quickly without thinking.

Students were encouraged to apply three practical steps:

Pause before reacting to urgent requests or attractive offers.

Verify through official websites, trusted contact numbers or direct confirmation.

Stay protected by keeping personal information private and seeking help when something feels suspicious.
