Financial Self-Care: Setting Money Goals with Hustle Honeys

Uno Advisers recently partnered with Hustle Honeys, a vibrant women’s friendship community, for an empowering financial goal-setting workshop. Hosted by our co-founder and licensed financial planner Malaysia, Kimberly Law, the 90-minute session focused on transforming personal finance into a refreshing act of self-care.

Kimberly kicked off the workshop with a step-by-step guided framework to help the women set financial objectives, with retirement as the end goal. Through this exercise, the intention was to help the attendees to approach retirement planning in a non-stressful way.

 

Participants completed a Financial Personality Quiz to identify their money strengths and tendencies. This activity enabled them to learn potential gaps in their financial management, while also identifying the best approaches to financial management that best suit their personality types.

 

Kimberly also provided a hands-on guide to budgeting in Malaysia, where she guided the attendees to calculate their monthly expenses and set realistic money goals for the year ahead.

The afternoon concluded with a delightful networking session over pretzels, allowing the community to connect and share their journeys.
